Accountant for Polish Companies (spółki)
We are looking for an independent and responsible specialist with a strong knowledge of Polish accounting and tax regulations, experience in managing client accounts, and a willingness to grow with our team.
Responsibilities:
- independently managing the accounting records of Polish companies;
- recording and monitoring business transactions;
- month-end closing and preparation of accounting and tax reports;
- VAT and CIT calculations;
- accounting for foreign currency transactions and exchange differences;
- handling WNT/WDT, import and export transactions;
- monitoring settlements with contractors;
- communicating with clients on day-to-day accounting matters.
Requirements:
- a university degree in economics, accounting, or a related field;
- 1–2 years of practical experience in accounting in Poland;
- experience in independently managing clients and performing month-end closing;
- strong knowledge of VAT and CIT;
- understanding of WNT/WDT, import and export accounting;
- Polish language skills sufficient for working with documents and communicating with clients;
- experience with Enova365, wFirma, or Saldeo will be an advantage;
- independence, responsibility, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
